Hi, I’m Fernando. I am a Creative Director creating meaningful products and experiences for companies big and small. I specialize in creative team management. I have a strong track record of building high-performing creative departments that are flexible and scalable. I structure creative teams by identifying the business needs while simultaneously establishing the right conditions for creativity that foster a positive workplace culture. Through years of experience, I have developed a good eye and process for recruiting top-notch creative talent. I am comfortable collaborating with C-level executives, and senior management in developing new and innovative approaches to increase sales and market share and improve return on advertising/marketing dollars.

I have experience creating exceptional products for businesses of all sizes, from startups to large corporations. My work experience has provided me with the confidence to develop or rebrand a business of any size as well as the ability to work within existing brand guidelines. I have been fortunate to work with a breadth of clients, some of which include University of Calgary, Telus, Suncor Energy, Koodo Mobile, Husky Energy, Mayfair Diagnostics, Alzheimer Society of Alberta, AAISA (Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies), Alberta’s NDP Caucus, and Bellstar Hotels & Resorts.

I transform brands through a holistic design process combining an understanding of the target audience or customer, in conjunction with the business’ objectives.
